Don’t worry, you are in the right place. I can guide you on how to migrate from Shopify to WooCommerce.
Well, I can assure you from my experience that many users successfully migrate their stores.
Setp 1 : Download Your Shopify Data.
First, visit the Shopify to WooCommerce website. Enter your Shopify website URL and provide your email address to proceed.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button to continue.
This will take you to your shopify store , automatically generating a Shopify API key for data migration. Click the ‘Install App’ button at the bottom to continue.
On the next screen, the app will show you the data it will export using the Shopify API. Currently, it exports all your product data, product categories, customer data, and orders.
You’ll need to provide an email address where you’ll receive a link to download the export file that file need to import data to WooCoommerce.
Click the ‘Start Export’ button to continue.
The app will show the progress of the migration process after finished you’ll see a download button you will get the download link in you’r link. Go to your link and download the export file to your computer.
Setp 2 : Import Shopify Data to WooCommerce.
First you need to setup WooCommerce in your site, then you are ready to import Shopify product data to WooCommerce.
First , you need to install the import plugin Shopify to WP plugin.
After install the plugin visit the Tools >> Shopify Importer page. From here, click on the ‘Choose File’ button to select export file that you already downloaded earlier.
Click ‘Upload’ button to continue.
The plugin will now start importing your data to you woocommerce .You’ll be able to see the progress of your upload on the menu.
After finish import of product then customers data will import. After complete the customers & orders data it will suggest to install some plugin if you don’t need you skip the process.
After complete the product import review your imported products, orders and orders status.
Setp 3 : Final step
If you notice that all of your product are now convert to variable product then you can proceed to next step.
Some time import product will import as variable product you need to convert all variable product to simple download this plugin and install it
After download and install the plugin . Now active the plugin and you can find ‘Convert Variable Products to Simple’ page in Converts Products tab which is locate in Tools menu.
After converting variable products to simple, you can deactivate and delete this plugin if it is no longer needed.
